Train collides with bus in Lagos

The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has confirmed no casualty or death was recorded as a train collided with a Toyota Hiace bus on Monday night at Arena, Oshodi, Lagos.

LASEMA disclosed this in a preliminary report issued by the Permanent Secretary of the agency , Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, and dated December 23, 2025.

Following the alerts, the agency said it immediately activated the state’s emergency response plan from its Cappa Base in Oshodi and deployed its response team to the scene.

“Following distress alerts received on it’s 767/112 Toll Free Emergency Lines at 1953hours, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, activated the State’s Emergency Response Plans from it’s Cappa Base, Oshodi,” the agency stated. Punch
