Abia: Butcher in police net for stabbing customer over meat price

A butcher in Abia State, Emeka John, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing a customer in the neck following a dispute over the price of meat at a market in Umuahia, the state capital.

PUNCH Metro gathered on Monday that the suspect allegedly attacked the victim with a pair of scissors during the altercation at the Orie Ugba Market on Saturday.

Confirming the incident in a telephone interview with our correspondent, the spokesperson for the Abia State Police Command, Maureen Chinaka, said the suspect had been arrested and detained. Punch
