Senate confirms Joash Amupitan as INEC chairman

The senate has confirmed the nomination of Joash Amupitan as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In his submissions during the screening on Thursday, Amupitan vowed to ensure INEC’s independence.
