Fire guts Head of Service building in Abuja

A fire incident erupted on Monday morning in a section of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation building in Abuja.

Eyewitness footage circulating on social media, captured around 8:00 a.m., shows thick plumes of dark smoke rising from an upper floor of the multi-storey structure.

The video shows dense black smoke billowing, with the fire appearing concentrated in one wing of the building.

The incident reportedly occurred at Section C of the building within the Federal Secretariat complex.

Staff members were seen moving away from the area as emergency responders were alerted to contain the situation. Punch
