DAYLIGHT Publisher, Azuh Amatus mourns, condemns killing of Arise News anchor

The publisher of leading online newspaper, DAYLIGHT, Chief Azuh Amatus has condemned the killing of Arise Television anchor, Somtochukwu Maduagwu.

Maduagwu, also a lawyer, was reportedly killed by suspected armed robbers at her residence in the Katampe area of Abuja.

Azuh also called on security agencies to immediately apprehend and prosecute those behind the dastardly act.

“I’m still in shock about this very sad news. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family and loved ones Somtochukwu left behind. It’s so painful that such a rising star in the media profession was brutally cut short in her prime. God will surely console and comfort her entire family. Rest in peace Somtochukwu Maduagwu.’’
