Condemnation as dispatch rider eats customer’s small chops before delivery

A viral video circulating on X has sparked condemnation and public health concerns after a dispatch rider was caught on camera eating from a customer’s small chops order before delivery.

The footage, which surfaced on Saturday, shows the rider sitting by the roadside with several packs of small chops arranged out on the ground.

The individual, who was later identified as David Agburu, is seen opening the packs from the side, picking a piece of snacks from each pack, and eating them before resealing the packages to continue his delivery route.

Reacting to the issue on Saturday, the affected vendor, Larry Spice Ventures, issued a statement clarifying that the rider was not an employee but a third-party agent engaged through the ride-hailing and delivery platform, InDrive. Punch
